Stan
Birthday: 1 April 2024
Sex: Male
Breed: Mixed
Size: Medium
Summary
Stan hasn’t had the best start in life but the healing environment of the sanctuary has helped ease the distress of suspected abandonment. Alert and with a zest for life, young Stan is at ease with the pack and is ready to find his forever home.
History
Stan suddenly appeared in a local village. He was underweight and unclaimed. The sanctuary was contacted by a resident and agreed to rescue him. Dave, a sanctuary dog particularly sensitive to other dogs in need, accompanied the sanctuary manager and together they brought Stan to safety.
Personality
Stan is chock-full of puppy boy energy. Highly active, he loves playing with the pack: whether one-to-one, whirling around the enclosure with the gang or hurling himself after a ball. He is also the softest, gentlest boy on a sofa and loves receiving affection. He is generous with his kisses and has a happy waggy tail.
Free and easy, Stan gets on with most dogs and loves the company of people.
Highly food motivated, he will sit perfectly for a treat and has great potential for training.
Compatibility
Stan is compatible with other dogs and comfortable with the cats at the sanctuary. Any children in a potential family home should be over the age of 10.
Medical
Stan is neutered, microchipped and has had his rabies vaccination. He will be screened for all mediterranean diseases before departing for his new life.
